MSK & Teens Unite

Last week MSK had the pleasure of supporting Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, this amazing organisation supports those in their teens and early 20s who are fighting cancer. They provide those aged 13-24 with the social, emotional, and physical support that is vital to their recovery. They can come together with others their age who understand what they are going through, and remember who they are as a person, not just a cancer patient. The Charity is currently moving from to a new HQ in Broxbourne, it is an amazing place, the young people are going to love it and what the charity will be able to offer them is truly brilliant.  Helping with the relocation, MSK supplied them with skips and donated a new storage racking system, furniture, and white goods. Our small but mighty MSK Team volunteered their time and helped to install the racking. Thanks to all involved for supporting this worthy cause.

World Cancer Day

Sadly cancer may affect us all in some way during our lifetimes, this World Cancer Day, MSK has been delivering Tool Box Talks on Cancer Awareness and Prevention in the Workplace, as well as Prostate Cancer Talks delivered by Prostate Cancer UK at two of our large projects. By spreading knowledge, supporting research, and making conscious daily choices, we can work together to support those affected and improve outcomes, every effort counts.

Our Forgotten Neighbours

Last week a team from MSK volunteered at an Our Forgotten Neighbours' food distribution event, where we assisted in handing out food. We also brought along our donations of cash, food, and supplies that our generous staff had contributed. Our Forgotten Neighbours is a local charity near our head office that runs a food distribution every Thursday at 5pm outside Toynbee Hall, located just past the Aldgate East tube station. Their mission is to provide meals to those in need, regardless of their circumstances. You can learn more about their amazing efforts and how you can get involved by visiting their website https://www.ourforgottenneighbours.co.uk/ Thanks to everyone at MSK who gave their time and donations.

Running for Tommys

A team from MSK are proud to be taking on the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon Corporate Challenge on 6th April 2025. We are raising money to support Tommy's so they can continue their vital work saving babies' lives. Tommy's fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. They want every parent to have the best possible pregnancy outcomes and to take home happy, healthy babies. Please support us to take on the 13.1 miles of the London Landmarks Half Marathon. Thank you. https://www.justgiving.com/.../msk-london-landmarks-half...
