As part of our carbon reduction strategy, MSK are committed to an ongoing tree planting & carbon offsetting programme. The MSK material reuse programme in action - this time with carpet tiles being reused at a Children's Centre Nursery through the Little Miracles Charity. Such a simple thing can make such a difference.

Reusing a stock of plywood, previously installed as protection at one of our construction sites, the team of MSK carpenters have recently completed boarding within a City of London community football and basketball court. Once completed, the refurbishment will benefit members of the local community in having access to outdoor play space and facilities. Our thanks to City of London for allowing MSK be part of such a great local project.  

In  2022, through a series of events, MSK funded and planted 2910 trees in partnership with North West Kent Countryside, supporting an ongoing focus and commitment to reduce carbon footprint, protect environments and improve air quality in our local communities. We look forward to continuing with more activity in 2023 and also co-ordinating further tree planting days with our clients .

2022 saw the MSK Health and Safety Team once again deliver an outstanding level of training and guidance to our teams. Over 500 operatives attended in house safety and awareness courses from vehicle banksman to manual handling and mental health. 185 external courses were also provided including SMSTS, NPORS, CLOCS and First Aid. Combined with over 140 green card awards from clients and colleagues, 2022 was another impressive year for MSK.
