Mental Health First Aid

With the construction industry sadly having one of the highest rates of suicide, having access to mental health first aid means we have a better understanding of different forms of conditions and notice signs early on. More members of the MSK Team have recently undertaken a full course to become Mental Health First Aiders and can now provide first aid to support people who may be experiencing poor mental health.

MSK Material Reuse 2023 Results

A fantastic effort by MSK across our sites and recycling centre to recover and co-ordinate the reuse of materials. Materials have been reused in many creative and beneficial ways, back to construction projects or supporting local communities and organisations. Great to see this programme building in momentum and the sustainable and environmental benefits it brings.

Carbon Offsetting - Tree Planting

As part of our carbon reduction strategy MSK are fully committed to an ongoing tree planting & carbon offsetting programme. So far along with our clients, we have helped to plant over 20,000 trees, check out our progress and the global programmes we have supported via the link below. https://ecologi.com/mskgroup/msklogistics

Health & Safety Training and Development in 2023

Training and development is always on the agenda for MSK, so it is no surprise our Health & Safety Team delivered over 2000 hours of training and guidance to our teams in 2023. Over 700 MSK operatives attended in house safety and awareness courses from vehicle banksman to manual handling and fire warden. 100 external courses were also provided including SMSTS, IOSH, PASMA and First Aid. Combined with over 100 green card awards from clients and colleagues, 2023 was another impressive year for MSK - our thanks to all those involved in making this all happen.

Wrapping Up London

At the end of last year, MSK and other contractors took part in a charity event ‘Wrap up London’ with one of our clients. We helped collect pre-loved warm coats for those in need, to be shared directly with frontline charities supporting people through the harshest of cold winter conditions. Thanks to MSK Logistics Manager Daniel Souza and Labourer Diogo Golcalves who helped drop off two bag loads of donated coats to one of the drop off points.

2023 Company Highlights

As we look forward to an exciting 2024, taking a moment to reflect and share just a few of our many 2023 company highlights. MSK would like to thank all our employees, colleagues, and clients for a fantastic year and for all your ongoing support and commitment – a very happy and prosperous New Year to all.
