MSK Passenger/Goods Hoist Safety Training

The MSK Health & Safety Team provided practical and theory training this week for our Logistics Team at George Street focusing on Passenger/Goods Hoist Safety.

During the practical part of the training, the team were shown how to visually check the Passenger/Goods Hoist, how the hoists work and the emergency lowering procedures should the hoist break down. The theory training included the ‘do’s & don’ts, check lists, and visual inspections, all followed by a theory test confirming understanding and awareness.
